Procrastination 101
This transformative class is designed to get to the root of what causes our tendency to avoid taking action, feel stuck in loops, and postpone the fulfillment of our dreams, goals, and ambitions.
Together, we will use The Work of Byron Katie, a simple, yet effective method of self-inquiry to question debilitating thoughts that fuel patterns of self-sabotage and keep us from acting in favor of our highest potential.
“Procrastination is the ego's way of creating time," -Byron Katie

Why We Put Things Off...
In the beginning of a new project, we have spectacular visions of how successful we will become once it's finished. We may ride an initial high, as our plans become lofty and grandiose. But eventually a big crash follows the excitement, once we realize how much work it will take to bring an idea to fruition.
From the time it will take to the money it requires, we chip away at our dreams with thoughts that keep them further from our reach. This is the moment procrastination enters the picture. We avoid difficulty and want things to be easy, which is when we indulge in addictive behaviors. But this is not the relationship most of us desire to have with our ambitions–that's why I've created a course to address all the unintentional ways we sabotage ourselves in pursuit of fulfillment.

Course Details
Over nine weeks, we will engage in partner exercises, group activities, readings, and discussions to look at our patterns from different angles. Each of us will focus on a single project or goal for which we will identify and question thoughts that arise in relation to the resistance we feel around getting it off the ground. Although there is no expectation to track progress, change habits, or even drop addictions, participants will be asked to notice what happens before, during, and after each class as we sit in this unfolding inquiry. As with any time we do The Work, we are here to feel into and become aware of what works and what doesn't.
